Melissa Peterson has over 20 years of experience leading organizations, providing thought leadership, and assisting public and private sector clients in the areas of IT and business strategy, IT solutions, organizational design, operational design, and business analysis.
As the CEO of Blue Sky Innovative Solutions, Ms. Peterson takes a hands-on approach to delivering high-impact solutions. Previously, as CSC’s General Manager for National Intelligence Agency Accounts, Ms. Peterson was responsible for delivery of high-value solutions to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Office of the Director of National Intelligence among other accounts. Prior to that, she served as CSC’s Account General Manager for the Defense Intelligence Agency Account.
Ms. Peterson has worked with clients in the financial services, telecommunications, retail, e-business, publishing and entertainment industries. In the public sector, she has worked with the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, the Department of Defense (Navy Materiel Commands, Army Deputy Secretary of Logistics, Defense Logistics Agency), the Internal Revenue Service, and numerous intelligence agencies. Furthermore, she has provided support to both mission and information technology organizations.
Ms. Peterson holds an MBA and a JD from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
